Gordon Ramsay’s daughter Tilly, 19, says she prefers her mum’s cooking over her famous chef father’s

Her father is one of the best known chefs in the world, with people across the globe paying a small fortune to taste his cooking.

But Gordon Ramsay’s daughter Tilly has revealed she actually prefers her mother’s cooking to her Michelin-starred father’s culinary offering.

Tilly, 19, herself an aspiring chef with multiple appearances on cooking shows, starred in an Instagram reel with her famous Dad completing the ‘This or That’ challenge, where she also shared she preferred plain food to anything with spice.

Thousands of fans were quick to comment on the challenge which was performed to  the tune of Run DMC’s ‘It’s Tricky’ from their home in Cornwall, with one shocked asking: ‘Why did she choose your wife’s cooking over yours?’

Gordon, 54, has five children with wife Tana, 46, who has written several cookery books.

As well as Tilly the couple share twins Jack and Holly, 20, Megan, 22, and 18-month-old Oscar, and the family spilt their time between homes in the UK and the US.

Tilly is following in her father’s footsteps as a TV presenter, and best-known for co-presenting CBBC cooking show Matilda and the Ramsay Bunch alongside her famous family.

While some fans were shocked that Tilly picked her mum’s cooking over her dad, many were quick to praise the pair’s sweet relationship, with Gordon obviously taking the light-hearted teasing well.

‘Wooow she chose your wife’s cooking over yours?’ one wrote.

‘Looool did she just go to mom’s cooking?!’ said another.

‘Wow not picking Gordon Ramsey’s cooking?’ penned a third.

It’s weird to see Gordon Ramsay when hes not shouting at people or calling them donuts,’ joked a fourth.

‘Such a cool Dad,’ added another.

The teenager, who spent lockdown in Cornwall with her family, recently turned 19, having a joint birthday bash with her dad.

The TV personality showed off their idyllic coastal home as she held up gold balloons in the shape of the number ’19’ at the family’s £4million country pile after she celebrated her birthday last month with her father Gordon – who turned 54 on the very same day.

She kept it casual in an all-black ensemble, cozying up in her loungewear as she celebrated her birthday from home amid the latest lockdown restrictions.

Meanwhile, her potty-mouthed chef caused massive controversy after spending the first lockdown in Cornwall, angering his neighbours by apparently flouting government guidelines.

Gordon caused fury among Cornish locals after relocating during the coronavirus crisis despite the Government urging Britons not to travel from hotspots to the countryside.

He was heavily criticised by neighbours who had claimed that he had ‘brought the virus with him’ after moving his family to the mansion.

However, the chef and his family had retreated to their second home at the start of the lockdown, which was not against the government guidelines at the time.

But the TV presenter was later spotted a number of times on long excursions – at a time when outings were limited to an hour a day.

He kept fit and set out on extensive cycles while staying in the area but caused rage after celebrating one lengthy ‘26.2 miles’ outing.
