BIP’s Tara Pavlovic sets the record straight on reality TV ‘love contracts’

Tara Pavlovic is no stranger to the Bachelor franchise. 

And on Monday, the 30-year-old set the record straight about the long-rumoured ‘love contracts’ on reality TV, following the split of Elly Miles and Frazer Neate. 

Speaking to Daily Mail Australia, Tara was adamant she has never heard of any such contract between the winners of the series.

‘I don’t think there’s any truth to a love contract,’ Tara, who was recently married to fiancé Nick Shepherdson, said resolutely. 

‘I never ever heard of that and I was on the show.’ 

Channel Ten has repeatedly denied the winners of the series are forced to sign a ‘love contract’ to stay together following the finale of their season.

Tara, however, said she wasn’t surprised at Elly and Frazer’s split. 

‘I just didn’t fully trust what I saw on the TV from his behalf,’ Tara said. 

‘He seemed like a nice guy but I just wasn’t feeling it. I just didn’t get a good vibe from him.’

Tara went on to explain that she preferred Elly and finalist Joe Woodbury together. 

‘I think Joe seemed a lot more genuine from my point of view,’ she added. ‘He seemed a lot of more genuine than Frazer did.’  

Tara went on to rave about the sisters Elly and Becky Miles being on the show saying they seemed like ‘beautiful’ people.

Queensland-based Tara is now an ambassador for Vistaprint, which allows for personalised cards to be sent to family this Christmas. 

Tara raved about the opportunity to reconnect with family and friends back in Sydney, amid border restrictions. 

‘I’ve been separated for my family in NSW for the whole year. I’ve also found out I am pregnant and haven’t been able to celebrate with them,’ she said. 

‘It’s connecting people again without physically being there. People can pop it on the fridge and still see you every day.’
