This is the hilarious moment a mischievous dog comes up with a new way to get over the safety gate – by using the wall as a 

The pug, called Hank, waits a few seconds for owner Mary Green, 29, to leave the room before launching himself over the gate in Nashville, Tennessee.

Footage shows him cleverly kicking the wall to help him vault over the gate before landing stealthily on the other side.

Owner Mary set up a camera to see how Hank was getting over the gate, and posted the hilarious video on December 4. 

She places her phone down before leaving the room, while Hank is left in the kitchen behind the fence. 

He watches for his owner for a brief second before leaping effortlessly into the air and using his paws to launch him over the barrier.

He almost runs across the surface, using his back legs to kick off the wall and lands on the other side in a swift movement.

In the video, which has 7.8million likes, the crafty canine stands outside the door waiting for its owner. 

The video, posted on TikTok, has since gone viral and has been viewed more than 33.4million times.

Users have taken to social media to express their amusement at the agile dog.

One commented: ‘He did that too well. He’s been practicing for years.’

Another said: ‘That ain’t a dog.. that’s a ninja.’
