Shia LaBeouf takes a brisk Saturday morning jog amid the renewed stay-at-home order in LA county

He’s the often conflict-ridden star of popular film franchises including Transformers and Indiana Jones.

And Shia LaBeouf was back to his jogging routine on Saturday, when he was seen on a morning run in Los Angeles, California.

The Honey Boy actor, 34, wore a black and green windbreaker in the slightly cooler temperature, paired with black Nike leggings.

He had on white socks and black trainers.

Shia also donned wraparound Oakley-style sunglasses, framed in reddish pink.

His coif was longer, and he sported a healthy amount of scruffy facial hair.

LaBeouf skipped a face mask, as several experts have said that outdoor activities such as running do not require the face to be covered as long as minimum social distancing is respected.

Nonetheless, Los Angeles has been under a stay-at-home order for almost a week, with the rest of Southern California joining in a recently-announced similar order as of Sunday night.

Coronavirus cases in the region continue to soar, causing hospital ICU capacities to drop.

It is when those capacities pass a certain percentage that stay-at-home orders and lockdowns are put into affect.

Shia got his start in acting in the late 90s, before breaking big on TV series Even Stevens, which ran from 2000 until 2003.

He then was featured in the Disney film Holes, opposite Sigourney Weaver and Jon Voight, also in 2003.

One of his most memorable roles, however, came in 2007, when he played Sam Witwicky in Transformers opposite and Megan Fox.

More recently, Shia has branched out into writing and directing, having penned the autobiographical screenplay for 2019‘s Honey Boy.

He acted in that film as well.

Other recent movie titles featuring LaBeouf include this year’s The Tax Collector as well as Pieces of a Woman, the latter costarring The Crown’s Vanessa Kirby and Oscar-winning film actress Ellen Burstyn.

Last month, the actor pleaded not guilty to petty theft and battery, stemming from an altercation with another man over the summer.

The Hollywood star was not in court to submit his plea, but his attorney responded to the two misdemeanor charges on his behalf, and the case will go back before a judge on January 20th, 2021.

It was explained in October that the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office had decided to press charges against Shia for allegedly using force and violence against Tyler Murphy, as well as taking his hat, during the incident.

Neither party suffered any serious injuries during the incident, which led to Shia having an arraignment hearing in November.

This isn’t the first time the star has had a run-in with the law, as in July 2017, he was ordered to rehab after being arrested for disorderly conduct, public drunkenness and obstruction in Savannah, Georgia, while in shooting The Peanut Butter Falcon.

Shia was also arrested for disorderly conduct, harassment, and criminal trespass in 2014.

It had been claimed at the time that he was ‘acting disorderly, yelling and being loud’.
