Chris Pratt is making the most of his weekend with his son by his side.

On Saturday the 41-year-old Guardians of the Galaxy star went for a bike ride in Santa Monica with his eight-year-old son Jack as they spent some quality father-son bonding time.

Putting on a patriotic display in an American flag sweatshirt, the Hollywood heavyweight made a statement while looking every bit the doting dad despite finding himself at the center of another Twitter debate.

Dressed down for a day of activities, Pratt wore a pair of athletic shorts, crisp black sneakers and a camo printed hat with yet another flag on the front.

Jack opted for a pair of joggers and a Pokemon t-shirt as he rode around with a helmet and protective gloves.

Both suited up in face masks, Pratt flashed his wedding ring as he adjusted his covering.

With wife Katherine Schwarzenegger, 30, at home with their newborn daughter Lyla, Chris had a boys day out as he closely followed behind Jack.

Upon returning home, Pratt shared some footage from Thursday evening as he showed off the couple’s Christmas tree on Instagram while mouthing a religious hymn.

Wearing a shirt that said, ‘Be Light’ on it, it could be assumed that he was making a statement relative to a bevy of uproar in recent months surrounding Pratt’s faith and politics as well as a tweet that has picked up steam in recent days.

The Jurassic World actor has found his name trending on Twitter yet again after a user tried to pit him against Jack Black on December 2nd.

‘Jack Black could replace Chris Pratt in anything that clown has ever been in,’ the initial tweet read with comments echoing the sentiments in detail.

‘Jack Black could do Guardians of the Galaxy but Chris Pratt couldn’t do The Holiday,’ another tweet read.

An outcry of replies continued to flood Twitter in favor of the Nacho Libre star as people even went as far as to call him ‘sexier,’ than the Avengers star while citing Pratt’s purported political and religious beliefs.

‘He’s a homophobic trump supporter that’s in a church cult,’ a user said when someone asked why Pratt had found himself under fire.

Only a few months on the heels of another Twitter uproar after users had to choose ‘the worst Chris‘ between Pratt, Chris Hemsworth, Chris Pine and Chris Evans – with Pratt losing – he found his personal beliefs under scrutiny in October.

‘Chris Pratt because he’s MAGA. He’s the worst Chris,’ one user wrote.

Additionally people continued to slam him as a right-wing religious fanatic for his involvement with the Zoe church which was called ‘infamously anti-LGBTQ,’ by now-Trans actor Elliot Page – formerly known as Ellen.

‘It has recently been suggested that I belong to a church which ‘hates a certain group of people’ and is ‘infamously anti –LGBTQ.’ Nothing could be further from the truth. I go to a church that opens their doors to absolutely everyone,’ he retorted.

Always by his side wife Katherine came out in support of her husband as she said, ‘Being mean is so yesterday.’
