SAS Australia’s ‘Ollie’ Ollerton reveals the A-lister he wants on season two

EXCLUSIVE: SAS Australia’s ‘Ollie’ Ollerton reveals the one A-list celebrity recruit he and the DS want to see on season two of the show

He was one of SAS Australia’s tough-talking instructors, but Matthew ‘Ollie’ Ollerton revealed there was one recruit who actually left him ‘starstruck’.

Speaking exclusively to Daily Mail Australia last week, the 47-year-old SAS star and mental health speaker said he was a huge fan of Shannan Ponton.

Ollie explained that he lived in Brisbane for 10 years, and said he was a huge fan of the TV show, The Biggest Loser.

‘I was a little bit starstruck, because I love Shannan! I’ve admired all of these people, and then I find it absolutely bizarre meeting them now,’ he admitted.

He added with a laugh: ‘I watched that show and thought he was great, and then I’m absolutely thrashing him on SAS Australia.’

Ollie said he even told Shannan he was a huge fan, which the 46-year-old celebrity fitness trainer seemed taken aback by.

‘I did tell him that I loved him and I thought his show was brilliant. I think he was surprised,’ he continued.

‘Shannan’s a really humble guy, so he was highly in awe of the DS. It was quite touching to see that.’

Ollie revealed the hit Channel Seven reality series has already been picked up for a second season.

He said while the DS aren’t involved in the casting process, there’s one Aussie celebrity on everybody’s wish list: Kylie Minogue.

‘As soon as they were saying, “What celebrities do you want?” all the lads, like a symphony, just went, “Kylie!”‘ he laughed.

‘I’d find it hard to be nasty to Kylie, I couldn’t do that to her. Maybe Dannii [Minogue]? Let’s get Dannii on!’

'Let's get Dannii on!' Ollie also admitted that he'd love to see Kylie's sister Dannii (right) on SAS Australia too
