Ryan Seacrest joined by Justin Bieber for virtual opening of Seacrest Studio at children’s hospital in Orlando

He’s an ubiquitous TV personality and radio host.

And on Wednesday, Ryan Seacrest was joined by Justin Bieber for a virtual ribbon-cutting of his latest philanthropic effort.

Seacrest’s charitable foundation opened a Seacrest Studio at the Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children in Orlando, Florida, with Seacrest and Bieber joining hospital staff and patients via video link for the event.

The 1,200-square-foot media center offers a place where children in hospital can go to play at being radio and TV hosts and also play games and take part in musical performances. 

Hospitals can also use the facilities to network programs throughout their facility which patients can then watch via their in-room TVs. 

Seacrest, 45, said it’s ‘about creating a space where patients and families can go to forget that they’re in the hospital.’

He told People: ‘We are thrilled to be able to share a fun and creative outlet during their stay that continues to keep their health and safety a priority during these challenging times.’ 

During the virtual event, Bieber, 26, interacted with some of the young patients at Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children, much to their delight, and answered some of their fan questions.

The hospital studios are overseen by The Ryan Seacrest Foundation and the one in Orlando is the 11th center to be opened.

Seacrest has made a fortune as a host for E!, ABC’s Live! With Kelly And Ryan, On Air With Ryan Seacrest radio show, and Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve.

He also produces E!’s Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
