EXCLUSIVE: The Bachelor’s Locky Gilbert reveals why he and Irena Srbinovska haven’t purchased a home together yet… despite spending $320 per NIGHT on a swanky apartment

Locky Gilbert and Irena Srbinovska recently settled down into a $320-per-night Quest apartment in Perth.

And on Wednesday, Locky, 31, revealed why the couple have decided to temporarily rent instead of purchasing a home together.

‘It’s easy for us to buy an apartment right now, but we just want to concentrate on being with each other and traveling as much as possible,’ he told Daily Mail Australia.

‘We want to go to Bali for a bit and just live there,’ he continued.

Locky added that he and Irena don’t want to have to worry about being in debt during their travels.

‘We’re traveling around Australia for the first six months of the next year and just want to be together,’ he said of their plans.

Locky, who runs an adventure business in Bali, said with international travel restrictions in place he is in the works of setting up adventure tours around Perth.

Earlier this week, Locky told his Instagram followers that the couple have well and truly ‘settled into their new home’ by sharing a drone video of their pad.

In the clip, the hunk and nurse Irena, 31, are seen sitting on their balcony enjoying a bite to eat while wearing matching white T-shirts.

But in the comments, some fans couldn’t help but probe the duo over whether they plan on buying their own place anytime soon.

‘When do you guys move into a normal house?’ one asked.

Locky replied: ‘When we finish travelling. No need for a place till we want to settle down really.’

Last month, the pair offered fans a glimpse inside their rented apartment.

Irena has decorated their love nest with a series of sentimental framed prints, which sit beside two miniature combi vans – a reference to their love for the outdoors.

Their apartment features a relaxed living area with a sofa, LCD TV with Foxtel and work desk with 24/7 access to an in-house gym.
