Drake announces Nike sub-label NOCTA collection debuting December 18: ‘An exciting new chapter in my life’
Four-time Grammy winner Drake announced Wednesday that his Nike sub-label NOCTA, referring to his nocturnal creative process, will launch globally starting December 18.
The 34-year-old Canadian crooner’s Instagram post of himself sporting a yellow puffer coat received glowing comments from his rap colleagues DJ Khaled and French Montana.
NOCTA was two years in the making for Drake (born Aubrey Graham), who described his line of jackets, tracksuits, and gloves as ‘an exciting new chapter in my life.’

‘This moment is full circle for me,’ the biracial R&B belter wrote on the Nike website.
‘I mean, growing up Nike was everything. It felt like every shoe I wanted, every athlete I liked, everything I owned was Nike. It didn’t mean anything unless it had a Swoosh.’
Drake added: ‘NOCTA is about creating something for people on the move. People who want functional, comfortable fits that are adaptable from one environment to the next.’
The B.B. King Freestyle star gushed that the ‘opportunity was something that I’ve been waiting on for a really long time.’
