Timothee Chalamet gives a smoldering stare as he covers Document Journal in artsy shots by fashion icon Hedi Slimane

He’s one of Hollywood’s most sought after young actors.

And Timothee Chalamet demonstrated his irresistible charm while covering the Document Journal’s latest issue.

Cameras got up close and personal with the Dune actor, 24, as he put his chiseled features on display in black and white shots by Hedi Slimane, who currently serves as Artistic Creative and Image Director for Celine.

Artsy: Timothee Chalamet looks handsome as ever while covering the latest issue of Document Journal

The moody photos offered an unvarnished look at Chalamet, zoomed in close to reveal his freckles and an almost-invisible touch of emerging stubble.

Though the rising star made the snaps look effortless, it took careful coordination to bring the shoot to life.

‘The shoot was actually produced between Hedi and Timothée. Document Journal’s editor in chief and creative director Nick Vogelson said.

‘Both myself and Timothée’s camp were chasing around working to produce it and then we found they had been in touch directly and arranged everything,’ he went on.

It seemed like the artsy shoot was fated to happen, as Timothee and Hedi found themselves in Europe at the same time over the summer.

‘They did a shoot in person,’ Vogelson went on, stressing the importance of having a COVID-19 safe environment.

‘Timothée was in Eastern Europe doing some final filming for Dune and after that at the end of August he flew to St Tropez and they did the photo shoot on the coast.’

The latest adaptation of Frank Herbert 1965 sci-fi novel was set for premiere dates in November and December, before being postponed to October 1, 2021.

Chalamet is also set to begin filming a Bob Dylan biopic, for which he was taking guitar lessons to portray the Desolation Row crooner.

Last month, cinematographer Phedon Papamichael revealed to Collider that the film has been put on hold indefinitely, amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
