Bachelor star Nichole Wood had to rush her newborn daughter to hospital on Tuesday night.
On Wednesday, the new mother recalled the alarming moment she realised something was wrong with little Bodhi Leigh.
The 26-year-old shared a clip on Instagram from hospital as her baby slept, with the caption: ‘My poor little girl had her first ambulance ride last night, gave mummy a big scare! She’s doing well this morning.’

The blonde beauty explained that she’d became concerned after her bub did a ‘big projectile vomit’ all over her, which she thought was ‘not normal.’
She brought the baby with her to the lounge room and told her on-again/off-again partner Jake Yard that there was something with their daughter.
The couple called the health line and explained that their baby was ‘very floppy, lethargic, pale’, and was unable to wake up and having difficulty breathing.
She said: ‘They (health line operator) were just getting me to go through all these things,’ and added that the operator decided they needed an ambulance to get to hospital quick.

Symptoms: Nichole explained that she’d became concerned after her bub did a ‘big projectile vomit’ all over her, which she thought was ‘not normal.’
She continued: ‘The ambos got here so quick. They were so good, there were like four or five of them, it was hectic. They all helped so much.’
Nichole said that little Bodhi is at ‘high risk of infection’, and explained: ‘My waters were broken for too long and (Bodhi) didn’t get antibiotics in time before I pushed her out.’
‘So she’s been on the watch since we left the hospital anyway,’ she added.
The former Bachelor contestant added that she wasn’t sure if her daughter’s current illness had something to do with her ‘waters being broken for too long.’
Nichole said that little Bodhi is at ‘high risk of infection’, and explained: ‘My waters were broken for too long and (Bodhi) didn’t get antibiotics in time before I pushed her out’
Nichole told fans that she was hoping that all the results would come back clear so that they could go home.
But in another post later in the day, she updated her fans by saying they had to stay another night at the hospital.
‘She may have meningitis,’ she wrote, ‘My poor little girl, breaks my heart. Getting further tests, her bloods won’t be back till tomorrow.’

This comes after her shock split from her tradie boyfriend, Jake Yard, when she was 39-weeks-pregnant with his child.
Nichole broke the shocking news on Instagram in November and described the situation as ‘pretty s**t’ and ‘another f**king level of f**ked up.’
Confirming that the split was acrimonious and assured her Instagram fans: ‘Just want to jump on and tell everyone that I’m in this situation and am OK as I can be, and thanks for all the messages.’
