Sunrise newsreader Natalie Barr is finally free as she leaves a Sydney hotel after completing mandatory two week quarantine following her coverage of the US election

Sunrise newsreader Natalie Barr returned to Sydney after covering the US election two weeks ago.

And after competing the mandatory quarantine period, the 52-year-old finally left the hotel she was staying at.

On Tuesday, the journalist was seen walking out of the Meriton Hotel and pushing a cart loaded with her luggage, her pillow, as well as suitcases for Channel Seven’s camera and equipment.

She dressed for the warm weather in a flowy navy top that featured cut out details on her shoulders, teamed with beige shorts and white sneakers.

The TV reporter donned a black cap, carried her red tote and kept her facemask on.

Natalie waited outside for her ride to take home and kept a check on her phone for it’s arrival.

When her taxi finally arrived, Natalie unloaded suitcases and bags from the cart and into the car, likely with the assistance of the driver and the hotel staffer.

The brunette beauty made sure to get her pillow and the smaller bags after setting them to the side.

Natalie was sitting on a stool in the corner of the White House press room, while surrounded by equipment as she recorded a voice-over for a story.

Natalie swiftly responded: ‘Yes I am, actually. Everywhere we go we wear masks as it’s compulsory here.’

She continued: ‘We wipe down everything with alcohol wipes. We use hand sanitiser and wash our hand constantly.’
