Chrissy Teigen was ‘going bonkers’ figuring out which The Weeknd song she heard and he helped her

She had the highly relatable problem of trying to figure out the artist of a song she had heard.

But Chrissy Teigen had the privilege of having the actual singer give her the assist in a fun online interaction.

The Weeknd helped the 35-year-old model realize that it was his latest single – Save Your Tears – which was wracking her brain as they had a wholesome back-and-forth on Twitter on Sunday. 

It all began when Chrissy tweeted: ‘Going bonkers trying to figure out a song I just heard twice the morning on the radio. Sounded like The Weeknd but cannot finddddddddd on iTunes. GOING CRAZY, it was on Sirius 47 the heat.’

She continued the Twitter thread as she revealed that she went through the 30-year-old Canadian crooner’s entire catalog and feared that it may not actually have been him. 

Chrissy wrote: ‘I have listened to I THINK every weeknd song for a few seconds to try to figure out, to the point where I forget what the song I’m looking for even sounds like AND AM DOUBTING IT’S THE WEEKND AHHHHHH’

The wife of John Legend then attempted to use the Shazam app – which can identify music, movies, advertising, and television shows, based on a short sample played – but had bad timing when the track played again on the radio.

She explained: ‘Then it played AGAIN as we were going into a parking garage and stopped before we could Shazam. Phew, the anguish.’ 

The Weeknd – real name Abel Makkonen Tesfaye – then came out of nowhere with the save as he retweeted her with the comment: ‘was it save your tears? [two crossing fingers emojis]’ 

Teigen was elated at finally solving the puzzle as she replied: ‘YESSSSSS THE WEEKND, IT WAS!’

The Heartless hitmaker was happy to be of assistance as he replied with a throwback .GIF of two women dancing.

The next day Chrissy celebrated her 35th birthday which seemingly began in the most relaxing way possible.

Soaking in the tub at 5.30am in the morning, the cookbook author shared a snap of legs poking out of the bubbles in her dimly lit bathroom.

‘Birthday bubble bath!’ the mother-of-two captioned the photo, which came days after she revealed she’s ‘mastered the art of preparing the perfect morning bubble bath’. 

Next up on Instagram stories, Chrissy posted some cute photos of her as a child.

Also included was a sweet throwback video of her playing with her newborn son Miles, captioned with two heart emojis.
