Duck Dynasty star Bella Robertson, 18, gets engaged to Jacob Mayo after six months of dating as he presents a diamond ring: ‘I love you forever’
Duck Dynasty star Bella Robertson is engaged to her beau Jacob Mayo after only six months of dating.
The 18-year-old daughter of Willie Robertson aka Boss Hogg who rose to prominence alongside her family on the hit A&E show in 2012 seems over the moon despite her tender age, and was quick to share the news on social media.
‘I am blown away by Gods goodness and grace. @jacobmayo lets get married!! i love you forever,’ she wrote while sharing an engagement photo.

In a black and white photo surrounded by the words ‘she said yes!,’ and their wedding hashtag #marrymemayo, Robertson wrote, ‘I was thankful for you yesterday, i am thankful for you today, and now i get to be thankful for you for the rest of my life!’
Mayo continued to echo the excitement of starting their lifetime together as he shared photos of the proposal which looked to take place in a barn surrounded by candles and sentimental photos.
‘Engaged! Bella is many things to me. She is my best friend. She is the person I can lean on in any problem with no judgment. But with the honest truth when I’m acting out. She loves Jesus. She holds me to a higher standard that she doesn’t let waver,’ he wrote.

Bella shared a photo of the pear shaped diamond on her Instagram story as she continued to revel in the excitement of being a fiancee.
The large Robertson family that includes siblings Rebecca, 32, John Luke, 25, Sadie, 23, Will, 14 and parents Willie and Korie were all in attendance for an engagement party that followed.
On the pair’s six month anniversary on November 10th Bella wrote that Mayo was ‘a dream,’ while writing, ‘i wouldnt trade ya for anything. heres to the next 6, and the next, and maybe the next??’
Unbeknownst to her the proposal followed just a little over two weeks later.

The Robertsons gushed over the impending nuptials while singing Jacob’s praises, as Bella’s mom Korie wrote, ‘Jacob, we love you and are so excited to welcome you into the fam. It’s been so much fun to see your love story unfold.’
Pregnant sister Sadie shared, ‘HOW IS MY LITTLE SISTER ENGAGED?!? I thought you were still 7?!?,’ while adding, ‘As wild as this is to me I’m thankful it’s to such a good man like Jacob.’
The reality tv family found fame throughout five seasons of their hit show that followed their daily lives and their family run business, Duck Commander, which manufactures duck hunting merchandise in Louisiana.
