The pair had misspelt, Hughesy’s name, with the message reading: ‘HB Hugesy’.

Carrie captioned the photo: ‘Oh c**p! Tommy and I got @dhughesy a 50TH birthday present and it was written wrong in the sky!!! Happy birthday HUGESY.’

Hughesy, later shared the image on his own Instagram account and poked fun at the spelling mistake.

‘The @carrietommyshow swear they gave the pilot the note with my name spelt right. He redid it for free,’ he captioned it.

‘We love that privilege and are really excited about returning in 2021 as the Hit Network’s drive show.’

Hit Network boss Gemma Fordham added: ‘We know our audience love the show and want more, they have proven to be a ratings success for us and the support from advertisers wanting to be part of the show is incredible. We are delighted to offer more of Carrie and Tommy in 2021.’
