She was one of Joe Biden’s most ardent celebrity supporters during his successful bid to become the United States of America’s 46th President.

And Julia Louis-Dreyfus has continued raising money for the Democrats, with the 59-year-old Veep actress taking to Instagram on Tuesday so announce another fundraising effort, this time for the Georgia Senate run-offs in January.

The Seinfeld alum mocked President Donald Trump’s attorney Rudy Giuliani’s now-infamous running hair-dye while promoting an upcoming Veep table read.

She captioned the announcement, ‘2020 won’t stop ripping off VEEP, so we had to do something about it.’

Louis-Dreyfus began her video by delivering a voiceover, played over images from her HBO comedy series that bore a striking resemblance to the recent US election.

‘Over the past few weeks, many brave and patriotic Americans have come forward, having witnessed similarities between our ongoing election and the TV show Veep,’ began the native New Yorker.

Scenes from the show depicted a fictional election in which crowds chanted ‘Count every vote,’ while Julia’s character Selina Meyer demands that that electors ‘stop the recount’.

The images in question were from the satirical show’s fifth season, which aired in 2016, long before near-identical, conflicting demands were made during the real life 2020 election.

She suggested that the parallels between her show and real life were a conspiracy, for which she had examples of ‘literally thousands, or hundreds of thousands of cases’.

Louis-Dreyfus then went on to parody Giuliani’s bizarre My Cousin Vinny reference from his press conference, when she looked offscreen and asked, ‘Have you watched Veep? It’s one of my favorites. With the nice lady?’
