Pregnant Bindi Irwin makes a horrifying discovery while doing her laundry

Bindi Irwin and Chandler Powell are expecting their first child, a baby girl, next year.

And on Tuesday, the expectant mother made a horrifying discovery while doing her laundry in rural Queensland.

The 22-year explained on Instagram that she’d found a family of moths among her clothes after taking them off the line.  

‘This was a first! Found a bunch of friends had moved into our laundry while it was hanging on the line,’ she captioned the post. 

‘Love spending time at our conservation property in outback Queensland. Has this ever happened to you?’ 

She accompanied her post with a short video showing a swarm of moths inside a pair of shorts.

The daughter of the late conservationist Steve ‘The Crocodile Hunter’ Irwin is about 20 weeks pregnant with her first child.

Bindi recently shared a picture to Instagram of herself wearing baggy overalls and revealed she was ‘halfway there’ in her pregnancy.

‘Twenty weeks pregnant and our baby girl is about the same size as a recently hatched emu chick,’ she said.

‘The love I have for my sweetheart husband and our beautiful daughter is boundless.’

Bindi revealed she was pregnant in August, when she uploaded a photo to Instagram of herself and Chandler holding a tiny version of the Australia Zoo uniform.

Bindi and Chandler were married on March 25, in a makeshift ceremony at Australia Zoo just before the country went into Covid-19 lockdown.
