Katie Price’s £2million ‘mucky mansion’ has sewage water build-up on the side of the property

Katie Price’s £2million ‘mucky mansion’ in West Sussex is suffering from sewage water build-up on the side of the property a year after the septic tank first started to leak.

The 42-year-old former glamour model, who bought the sprawling country house back in 2014, recently vowed to renovate and sell the house, with doctors demanding she doesn’t return for the sake of her mental health.

In new images, work appeared to grind to a halt as the home’s exterior was strewn with rubbish and broken kitchen appliances, while the swimming pool was left neglected.

One van and a small pink car occupied the reality star’s massive porch area, which has been covered with moss and overgrown plants.

While the Brighton native’s massive garden appeared to have been trimmed, the building’s dull exteriors brought down its appearance.

The businesswoman has also removed her children-friendly tennis court, with the area currently being filled with wood chunks and other waste. MailOnline has contacted a representatives for Katie for further comment.

The mother-of-five is currently living in a rented £4,250 per month six-bedroom property in Surrey with her children and her boyfriend Carl Woods, just minutes away from ex-husband Peter Andre’s home.

Over the past year, the TV star’s abode stood decrepit and unkempt with abandoned facilities amid her recent financial woes.

Renovations finally kicked off in June 2019, but the influencer was left devastated when the mucky mansion was broken into and destroyed by intruders over a year later.

An insider told The Sun at the time: ‘Katie is devastated. She is fearful that whoever has done this has a vendetta against her and even thinks it could be linked to her standing up against social media bullying trolls.

‘This crime was committed to cause as much impact and personal upset as possible to Katie,’ continued the source.

The publication also claimed that the burglars raided boxes of her personal belongings, which had been stored in her loft, and left her possessions strewn across the floor.

All of the damage is said to have been discovered by a neighbour, who was in the midst of conducting a routine sweep of the home and its surrounding 12 acres.

Sussex Police told MailOnline: ‘On Monday morning police received a report that sometime since the previous day, a residential address had been entered by a person or persons unknown.

‘The property was not occupied at the time. It was not possible to establish whether anything had been stolen. Anyone with information can contact Sussex Police online or by calling 101, quoting serial 403 of 06/07.’

Last month, the media personality vowed to never return to her mucky mansion as it is filled with ‘bad memories’.

The TV star spoke candidly with The Mirror about her decision, saying she was advised to move by doctors who worked with her at The Priory, as they believe it would be better for her mental health.

Admitting she still has the house while actively looking to move, Katie explained: ‘I’ve moved in with him, the kids will stay at his, but his house is the show home, it’s immaculate, but mine is more like the Jungle Book.

‘The doctors from The Priory have said that my house, mentally, is a place I can’t ever go back to because there’s too many memories.

‘Even just walking up the driveway drives me mad, and when I’m in I want to get out of there. I can’t explain it in my head and it’s just so sad what’s happened to my house.’

Katie proclaimed that she was ‘done’ with the house, and even if she could do it up and make it a nice place to live again she admitted she wasn’t ready mentally to do so.

In September, the building caught fire, two years after a blaze caused by candles damaged the same property. The fire brigade were called to her house after neighbours raised the alarm as the side of the home appeared to go up in flames when a caretaker built a bonfire near her home, reported The Sun.

Last year, the mother-of-five took desperate measures to clean her abode as she enlisted the help of her estranged husband Kieran Hayler, aired on the latest series of My Crazy Life.

In December 2018, Katie avoided bankruptcy after coming to an agreement over her tax bill and a close pal allegedly loaned the star £22,000 to bail her out. The High Court was told that the petition to make her bankrupt had been dismissed.

Katie’s case was heard at a specialist insolvency and companies court in Central London, which estimated her total debts ranged from £250,000 to £500,000. She was not at the court for the hearing, which lasted less than two minutes.

Deputy Insolvency and Companies Court Judge Middleton said: ‘This case has been dismissed after the parties concerned reached an out of court agreement.

Court costs of £881 are to be paid in accordance with the terms of the IVO (Individual Voluntary Agreement).’ Outside court, a spokesman for HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) added: ‘We are not the lead creditors in this case, but we are happy with the agreement. I can’t tell you who the other creditors are in this case at the minute.

‘We don’t have a specific date for the first payment and the amount has not been decided. Katie Price was not obliged to turn up to this court hearing today.’
