Will & Grace’s Megan Mullally will make her West End musical debut in Anything Goes next year starring opposite Robert Lindsay

Megan Mullally is set to make her West End musical debut in Anything Goes. 

The Will & Grace actress, 62, will star as Reno Sweeney opposite Robert Lindsay, 70, who will play Moonface Martin. 

Anything Goes will return to the London stage next spring and summer, for a limited 15-week run at the Barbican Theatre.

Three-time Tony Award Winner Kathleen Marshall will also be making her West End debut as she choreographs and directs the revival.  

Megan said: ‘Anything really does go, is the thing, and I’m excited to be coming to London where Robert Lindsay and I will promptly unleash ourselves upon that wonderful town for 15 weeks of farce and frolic. 

‘Under the tutelage of the devilishly clever Kathleen Marshall we shall endeavour to do the memory of Cole Porter proud. 

‘Meanwhile, I will endeavour to get my a** to a tap class. A brand new rendering of a great old entertainment is on the horizon…something tells me I’ll get a kick out of spending my summer in London next year! Tally-ho!’

Megan has performed on Broadway in revivals of Grease, How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying and Mel Brooks’ Young Frankenstein. 

She starred as Karen on NBC’s hit sitcom Will & Grace, for which she received two Emmys, four Screen Actors Guild awards and four Golden Globe nominations.  

The classic musical will feature music and lyrics by Cole Porter and the original book by P.G. Wodehouse, Guy Bolton, Howard Lindsay and Russel Crouse. 

Megan will star opposite Robert, who played Ben Harper in sitcom My Family for more than 10 years.
