I’m A Celebrity SPOILER: Mo Farah goes flying after having GUTS poured on his head

I’m A Celebrity SPOILER: Mo Farah is left splayed on the floor after having GUTS poured on his head while grappling with cockroaches during his first trial in Fort Locks

He is yet to tackle a Bushtucker Trial.

Yet the time has come for Mo Farah on Friday’s episode of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here as he has been nominated to take on Fort Locks.

As he gets into the vault-like setting in the historic Gwrych Castle, Abergele in North Wales, Ant and Dec look on as the athlete puts his hands into various holes filled with creepy crawlies and slime before he has guts poured on to his head.

Mo appeared totally petrified as he threw himself into the challenge which saw him blindly put his hand into the vaults to try and nab the stars.

As he began to pick up momentum however, the star was thrown off course when what appeared to be a pile of guts were poured on his head.

Mo’s trial comes after it was reported that I’m A Celeb bosses have reportedly had to remind the camp mates to wash and sanitise in order to keep coronavirus at bay.

It has been claimed that they are desperate to avoid a coronavirus crisis like Strictly Come Dancing, which would cause havoc on set if someone were to catch it.

According to The Sun, camp mates including AJ Pritchard, Shane Richie and Mo have been told how important it is to keep ‘good hygiene’.

It comes after BBC R1 presenter Jordan North, 30, admitted he had been wearing the same underpants for three days, while AJ Pritchard, 26, confessed he had too.

A source told the publication: ‘Regular washing is the way to keep the bug at bay, as the government has reiterated from the word go.

‘ITV have worked so hard to get to this point, so the last thing they want is something to derail that. Producers have reminded contestants to maintain a good level of hygiene, which means regular hand washing and showers where possible.’

As well as reinforcing the importance of cleanliness on set, hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donelly, both 45, are ensuring to remain socially-distanced in camp.

Despite the fact they took precautions by asking camp mates to isolate for two weeks, there is apparently still a slight risk they could catch it from other sources.

The newspaper said that everyone working on the show is being tested for Covid-19 twice a week and the site is regularly deep-cleaned.

Everyone who works on the show is getting two tests a week, and the entire site in Abergele is being regularly deep-cleaned.
