Sam Faiers is slammed for sharing an Anne Frank quote alongside a glam Instagram photo of herself as she urges her followers to ‘stay positive’ during lockdown

Sam Faiers has been criticised by some of her Instagram followers after sharing an Anne Frank quote alongside a glam photo.

The Mummy Diaries star posted a photo of herself lounging on her bed in a green jumpsuit on Thursday morning, alongside the quote: ‘What a wonderful thought it is that some of the best days of our lives haven’t even happened yet’.

The quote is attributed to Anne Frank, the Jewish diarist who died during the Holocaust.

Anne posthumously gained fame with the publication of The Diary of a Young Girl which detailed her and her family’s two years in hiding during the Nazi occupation of the Netherlands.

Sam added the hashtags ‘#annefrank #staypositive #focusonthegood’ to her Instagram post.

The reality star was slammed in the comments for her use of the quote alongside the photo and hashtags with one follower pointing out: ‘Yet poor Anne died at just 15 in a concentration camp.’

‘Was just thinking this,’ wrote another follower in reply.
