I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here’s Russell Watson and Ruthie Henshall are set to take on a secret mission in Thursday night’s show, as the camp’s harmony is thwarted by a magical jester.

Revealing the twist in spin-off The Daily Drop, host Vick Hope said the pair will be set the challenge by an unusual jester painting that comes to life, and if they succeed, the camp will be rewarded with their luxury items.

Russell and Ruthie made their debut in the camp in Wednesday’s show after taking on their first trial Stage Fright, and succeeded in winning 11 stars for the celebrities.

In Thursday’s episode of The Daily Drop, Vick reminded viewers of a jester painting that’s been placed in the camp’s washroom.

She then announced that the painting would be coming to life in Thursday night’s show, and would be setting Ruthie and Russell a series of secret missions.

If the duo succeeded in completing the missions, without the other celebrities finding out, they would win the camp’s luxury items.

Offering their views on the fun twist, guest Denise Van Outen said: ‘I love secret missions, this is when the fun begins.’

That’s odd! The pair will be set challenges by a jester painting, after it comes to life to wreak havoc in the camp (pictured left in the boiler room)

Christopher Biggins, who won I’m A Celebrity in 2007, added: ‘They’re both actors, they’ll probably do it – it will be fun. He might sing it all, that’s the only thing.’

Russell and Ruthie made their debut in the I’m A Celebrity camp at Gwrych Castle on Wednesday night, and were thrown in right at the deep end as they took on their first trial Stage Fright.

The duo had to fish punchlines to jokes out of a barrel of slime, hold fish eyes in their mouths while transferring them and dance in critter-filled trousers, while the other ten celebrities watched on as spectators.

The newcomers managed to bag 11 stars out of 12 for camp which meant the group wouldn’t be going hungry.

Meanwhile, in the Living Quarters, some of the original campmates were talking about the impending new arrivals.

‘I’ve got mixed emotions at the moment. It moves the dimensions. It moves the dynamics about slightly. Vernon added: ‘I would be genuinely upset if this dynamic changes.’

Later Shane added: ‘There’s 10 of us now, we’ve been together four days. We know each other really well. We’re eating, sleeping, laughing, crying together and for another two people to come in you’re always frightened. It’s going to change the dynamics and we were kind of concerned about that.’

However, all was forgotten as Ruthie and Russell entered the camp, and they received a hero’s welcome before all 12 celebrities dined on Oxtail for dinner.
