This Morning viewers were left in hysterics as Phillip Schofield and Alison Hammond showed off the world’s first song made for dogs.
Showing off the Christmas song to a dog therapist and the pets she was looking after, the pooches remained complacent as they heard the tune.
The song featured a high pitched melody that was said to work well for dogs, and also had words like ‘walkies’ and ‘good boy’ as well as squeaky chew toy noises.

After the dog therapist’s pets didn’t do much after the song aired, she joked: ‘They didn’t really react, I was hoping they’d jump up at the squeaky toy but they didn’t even do that.’
Amused by their lack of reaction, Phil said: ‘I don’t know it necessarily was meant to anaesthetised them all but it did.’
Later on, Phil and Alison laughed to themselves as they saw videos sent in by fans of their dogs not reacting to the song in any way.
Taking to Twitter a number of viewers shared videos of their pet pooches as they ignored the song on the TV, while others joked it was a ‘flop’.

One viewer simply said: ‘This dog Christmas song malarkey was… a flop.’

Alison stood in for regular presenter Holly Willoughby on the show, as she took a day off from work.
Addressing why she was in her stead, Alison told viewers: ‘I’m Alison, who’s standing in for holly who is having a well-deserved day off today.’
It was reported on Friday, that Alison and Dermot O’Leary would be replacing Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford on their Friday This Morning slot.
Reports have claimed the ‘furious and upset’ presenters, both 60, will now instead take over the show during its six-week summer break.
This Morning editor Martin Frizell had earlier this year told staff he was planning to hire a black presenter.
