She’s faced a tumultuous year, after announcing her split from ex-partner Steve ‘Commando’ Willis in January.

But Michelle Bridges appears to have put any negativity of the past behind her, as she focuses on the most important man in her life – her and Steve’s little boy, four-year-old Axel.

On Wednesday, the Biggest Loser star, 50, shared a poignant message alongside a cute photo of her and her son, saying she had ‘so much gratitude in one moment’.

So sweet: On Tuesday, Michelle Bridges said she was was filled with ‘gratitude’ as she spent time with her gorgeous son Axel, four

‘One of my favourite pics,’ she wrote. ‘Me and my moo. Just gettin on with it.’

Later in the month, on Australia Day, Michelle blew 0.086 when she was pulled over in her Range Rover with Axel in the car at about 11.25am.

After she was charged on January 26, Michelle released a statement explaining how she was going through a ‘very difficult time’ following her break-up with Steve.

Outside court, a tearful Michelle said: ‘I would like to take this opportunity to express my deep remorse, shame and humiliation [over] this incident and extreme lack of judgment.

‘I would like to apologise to my family, friends and community for this gross error in judgment and the consequences of these actions will haunt me forever.’

The star later pleaded guilty to mid-range drink driving and was fined $750. She also had her licence disqualified for three months.

Speaking to WHO Magazine in October, Michelle added: ‘It’s been a particularly challenging year for me, like it has been for everyone, but I’m moving on’.

Seemingly referring to her drink driving conviction in February, Michelle said she’d learned a lot about the ‘beauty of people’ after receiving support from her family, friends and even ‘strangers’.

‘The compassion and empathy I was afforded is something I’ll never forget,’ she added. ‘We all make mistakes. We’re all human.’
