Tahlia Giumelli and Tom Burgess introduce their newborn daughter to her big sister Sophie

A day after welcoming their second daughter, Tahlia Giumelli and Tom Burgess introduced their new addition to her big sister, Sophie.

In a post on Instagram on Tuesday, Tahlia shared a sweet photo of the moment one-year-old Sophie met her little sister for the first time.

‘Blessed,’ the football WAG simply captioned the black and white photo, adding a series of pink heart emojis.

In the photo, Tom, 28, cradled his newborn daughter as Tahlia leant down to kiss her forehead and an entranced Sophie simply stared at her sister.

Tahlia also shared a series of photos on Instagram Stories, including a photo of herself sitting on the couch at home in between Sophie and their dog, Ted, with the baby resting on her chest.

‘My three kids,’ she captioned the post.

A second photo showed Tom leaning down to show the baby to Sophie and Ted, who were waiting by the front door.

Sophie sweetly reached out to touch her sister as the rugby league footballer cradled her in his arms.

Tahlia and Tom announced the arrival of their second daughter on Instagram on Monday, revealing she’d arrived early at 36 weeks.

On Tuesday morning, Tahlia revealed they were yet to decide on a name for the baby girl after being convinced they were expecting a boy.

‘Baby girl is still nameless but we are so in love. Her nickname for now is “Rupertina” hehe,’ she wrote on Instagram. 

‘We can’t wait for Sophie to meet her, I think she might be in for a little shock haha… She’s a perfect addition to our family.’
