MAFS: Carly Bowyer makes a brutally honest pregnancy admission

Former Married At First Sight star Carly Bowyer is counting down the weeks until she welcomes her first child with her partner, Neil Goldsmith.

And on Monday, the 34-year-old gave fans a brutally honest glimpse into her pregnancy journey so far.

She posted a photo to Instagram of herself dressed in activewear while showing off her bump, alongside a lengthy caption.

‘Pictured here with dirty hair, no makeup to hide my melasma, wearing activewear, and smiling even though I sometimes don’t want to! (Hello hormones!)’ she wrote.

The brunette revealed she now has to wear a pelvic support band because of PGP (pelvic girdle pain) and struggles to walk or sit for long without experiencing pain.

‘Oh and did I mention that I wee 30 times a day, and am uncomfortable and exhausted 24/7? And the list goes on,’ she added.

Carly, who is based in Melbourne, said the ‘toughest part’ of her journey has been not seeing her family in South Australia due to the pandemic.

Despite this, the mother-to-be said she ‘counts her blessings every day’.

‘I’ve definitely been lucky compared to some, and I’d do it all over again in a heartbeat for our boy,’ she said.

Carly added that she believed it was important for her to share ‘all sides’ of her pregnancy on social media, particularly for other pregnant women.

‘Try not to compare yourself because it’s not always glamorous or a beautiful experience like you often see on social media,’ she wrote.

She concluded: ‘I totally feel you! You are not alone. You’ve got this, mama.’

Carly announced her pregnancy back in June. She and Neil debuted their relationship on Instagram back in September 2019.

Fans will remember Carly from the 2018 season of Married At First Sight.

She was partnered with ice cream entrepreneur Justin Fischer and later dated another groom, Troy Delmege, for several months.
