‘That is one dish my boyfriend and I love to make,’ Kylie said.

‘We do our version, which has no spanner crab and no semolina noodles. It is just regular crab in the UK because we don’t get spanner crab here, prawns and linguine.’

She added: ‘That takes us hours, no joke. We have kind of adapted it, which I think is one of the great things about cooking, follow your nose and do whatever. You kind of can’t mess it up really.’

This week, Kylie spoke about how she first met Paul and said she ‘lucked out’ meeting him.

In an interview with You magazine, the 52-year-old revealed how she initially refused to meet Paul and their first date happened only because of a very persistent mutual friend.

‘One day, we went to the bar and my friend said, “right, I’m calling him now,” she said.

Kylie said Paul arrived at the bar and they hit it off right away and swapped numbers, before going on a date.

‘What I wanted was a good guy and he was a good guy. We swapped numbers, went on a date. And that was it.’

Last month, Kylie told Stellar magazine that Paul met her extended family in Australia when they traveled down under for her grandmother’s birthday last year, who turned 100.

Kylie explained: ‘We tend to do things fairly small as a family, but she had eight children, and a lot of them have children, so we had relatives there from North Queensland who we don’t get to see very often. It was a very beautiful day.’

‘We had a Welsh male choir there. Some of those old fellas had sung at her 80th – it was very touching.’

The singer added that Paul coped well with meeting so many of her family members, and as he hails from Caerphilly, South Wales, he was touched by the Welsh elements in the celebrations, which honoured Kylie’s nan’s Welsh roots.

‘He was completely sideways, but he welled up when the Welsh choir started singing. There were so many extended family for him to meet. He did very well,’ the Spinning Around hitmaker said.
