Bachelorette Ashley Hebert and J.P. Rosenbaum reunite for daughter’s 4th birthday bash after split

The Bachelorette alum Ashley Hebert split from husband J.P. Rosenbaum last month.

But true to their stated intention of continuing to amicably co-parent their two children, the former TV reality stars reunited to celebrate daughter Essex’s fourth birthday.

The estranged couple hosted a party for their little girl on Saturday, 10 days after her actual birthday, and shared images from the bash on their social media. 

‘Happiest Belated Birthday to my dream girl, Essie,’ Hebert, 35, wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of Essex with her LOL-themed cake and her gifts.

‘She’s 4, and I couldn’t love her more!’ the former Bachelorette gushed.

On his own Instagram, Rosenbaum, 43, shared: ‘We now own every piece of LOL merchandise ever manufactured. Happy belated birthday my love bug.’

The exes also share son Fordham, six.

Hebert and Rosenbaum appeared on season 7 of ABC’s dating show in 2011 and got engaged in the season finale.

They went on to marry in December 2012.   

Last month, Hebert announced via Instagram that the pair had been separated for months and had decided to split.  

‘We created the most beautiful children and shared memories that will never be forgotten,’ she wrote. 

‘Our differences have taken a toll on our relationship and after years of attempting to repair the damage, we’ve decided that it is in our family’s best interest to create new and separate lives for our children, she explained. ‘Our ultimate focus is to create stable and healthy lives for our children.’

Rosenbaum also shared that they had worked hard to salvage their marriage but ‘we are just two very different people, with very different personalities and perspectives, who just don’t see eye to eye on a lot [of] life fundamentals.’
