Fears grow for missing ‘well-spoken’ woman, 35, who has not been seen since being spotted in Edinburgh a week ago

  • Lauren Weeks, 35, of North Wales, was last seen at 10.40pm on Tuesday 10 Nov
  • She was last sighted at Waverley Bridge, Edinburgh, Scotland, and is slim-build 
  • Lauren is 5ft 7ins tall, with long dark blonde hair and believed in all-black outfit
  • Anyone with information is urged to contact Police Scotland via 101 quoting incident number 1155 of 12/11/2020

Police have launched an urgent appeal for a missing ‘well-spoken’ woman who was last sighted a week ago. 

Lauren Weeks, 35, of North Wales, was last seen at 10.40pm on Tuesday 10 November at Waverley Bridge, Edinburgh, Scotland.  

She is described as a white female, 5ft 7ins tall, with a slim build and long dark blonde/brunette hair and is thought to be dressed in all-black with a grey backpack.

Lauren has a North Wales/English accent and is believed to be wearing a ‘high- quality’ windproof jacket, skirt and ankle boots and carrying a dark green duffle bag and dark green sleeping bag. 

Further enquiries have now found that Lauren was in the York Place area in Edinburgh on Thursday 12.    

The Edinburgh Police Division said: ‘We are appealing for the public’s help as part of our efforts to trace Lauren Weeks, 35, who has been reported missing in Edinburgh.

‘There are growing concerns for Lauren who was last seen around 10.40pm on Tuesday the 10th of November at Waverley Bridge, Edinburgh.

‘Lauren is known to travel around the UK and may have travelled to the Glasgow, Kilrmarnock or Fife areas. Lauren is from the North Wales area.’  

The spokesman added: ‘She is believed to be dressed in all black with a high quality windproof jacket, skirt and ankle boots.

She is described as a white female, 5ft 7ins tall, with a slim build and long dark blonde/brunette hair and is thought to be dressed in all-black with a grey backpack

‘She is believed to be carrying a large grey mountaineering style backpack. She is well spoken with an English/ North Welsh accent.
