The shocking footage shows how two police officers tasered a knifeman who refused to put down his knife, after he stabbed a man 13 times.

Knifeman Jonathan Corley can be seen holding the knife, ignoring the police officers’ orders to drop it.

It was then when PC Stephen Wales and PC Matthew Sherriff  used the stun gun before he staggered into a bathroom.

The terrifying footage shows them wrestling to remove the knife from his hand while he can be heard screaming.

PC Stephen Wales and PC Matthew Sherriff repeatedly asked Corley to drop his knife

They were able to arrest Corley, 26, who was later jailed for 10 years and four months.

Corley broke in to the family’s home Pontefract on April 2 and after stabbing Lee Morgan, 42 thirteen times, he tried to break down the bedroom door where Mr Morgan’s wife Nicola and their 13-year-old daughter were hiding.

The West Yorkshire Police officers had luckily been in the area when they called to attend the stabbing.

Trucker Lee suffered multiple stab wounds, a broken elbow and a punctured lung, but survived.

Corley – who lived nearby – had stormed into their home but luckily Nicola was able to stop him attacking her.

They have no idea why he attacked them.

Nicola, 46, said: ‘I was pushing with all the strength I had, I still to this day do not know how we did it.

‘I could hear the bed creaking and breaking. There were moments when he’d stop but would then be full on again. It was just surreal.

‘I saw the bodycam footage afterward and they really put their lives on the line. It was horrendous.’
