 They are currently living the good life in Venice, as they wait for Liev’s new movie, Across the River and into the Trees, to begin production.

And Liev Schreiber, 53, and his girlfriend Taylor Niesen, 27, were spotted out running errands in the city on Saturday.

Ray Donovan star Liev looked dapper in a grey blazer, jumper and skinny black jeans.

He wore a pair of black Nike sneakers on his feet, and he cut a casual display as he held his hands in his pockets. 

Taylor meanwhile wore a chic black blazer coat and a set of grey harem pants. 

The model wore a stylish orange satchel behind her back, and she looked incredibly cool with her flaxen tresses hanging beneath her mariner’s cap.  

The couple, who have been linked since 2017, brought their newly adopted dog Scout to the market with them.

Liev announced the adoption on Instagram in July and introduced Scout to his nearly 500,000 followers.

‘New guy. His name is Scout,’ captioned the Spotlight actor, before giving the dog rescue he got Scout from a major shoutout.

The couple are in Venice while waiting for production to start on Liev’s new movie, Across the River and into the Trees. 

The film which is an adaptation of the Ernest Hemingway novel, will see the Spotlight actor star as Colonel Richard Cantwell.

Set during the final days of WWII, his character grapples with physical and emotional damage from the previous war as well as whirlwind romance with a younger woman. 

The production is taking all the necessary COVID-19 precautions – as Italy was the first country to stop filming and go on lockdown – which include getting multiple swab tests before and during the stay. 

Since landing in Italy in mid-October, he has been thrilled to be on location in what he calls, ‘arguably the most beautiful city in the world (next to NYC of course).’ 

The Human Capital star has shared photos of him enjoying scenic gondola rides and early morning script reads from his breathtaking balcony. 

Though lucky to be traveling and currently working, shooting for months on end in a foreign country can definitely get lonely, amid a pandemic.  

His two children Sasha, 13, and Kai, 11, (who he shares with ex Naomi Watts) are back in NYC, spending extended time away from them for the first time since lockdown.
