On Sunday, Chris left fans stunned by sharing photos of his extremely youthful-looking mother Leonie to celebrate her 60th birthday.

‘Happy 60th to the greatest mum on earth! Love ya mum xo,’ the Thor actor wrote in his caption, prompting baffled fans to comment on how Leonie looks young enough to be his sister.

In May, Chris’ wife Elsa Pataky revealed that a ‘strict’ intermittent fasting diet was the secret behind Leonie’s age-defying look.
‘Intermittent fasting’ refers to an eating pattern that cycles between periods of voluntary fasting and eating, and is commonly used as a weight loss strategy.
Speaking to body+soul, the Spanish actress explained: ‘The first person we knew who started [intermittent fasting] really strict was Chris’ mum, actually.’
‘She just looks amazing! She’s 60…and every year looks even better,’ she added.
Elsa explained that Leonie started with one day of fasting per week, before gradually building up the frequency and length of her fast periods.
