Harry Kane’s £100,000 Range Rover is stolen in daylight raid

Thieves sped off with England captain Harry Kane’s £100,000 Range Rover after repeatedly driving past it in broad daylight, insiders claim.

The luxury vehicle was taken near to an address in Chingford, East London, in October after CCTV footage showed a car driving past it repeatedly.

The car belonging to Tottenham Hotspur striker Kane – who earns £200,000-a-week – was opened using an electronic device, reports suggest.

A source told The Sun: ‘Harry feels he has been targeted by a gang who focus on footballers.

‘The way the robbery played out didn’t feel like a coincidence.’

They added: ‘Obviously Harry is just happy no one was harmed and that they didn’t get away with anything irreplaceable or personal to him and his family.’

Police have reportedly told Kane – whose wife Kate Goodland is pregnant with their third child – that it is unlikely the car will be recovered.

In May this year, Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Dele Alli had  thousands of pound’s worth of jewellery and watches stolen by knife-wielding thugs who forced their way into his £2million mansion.

His girlfriend Ruby Mae was reportedly playing pool with Alli when he was punched in the face by the thieves.

The couple had been isolating with Alli’s brother Harry Hickford, Harry’s partner and a long-term friend, when the robbers broke in and demanded the footballer hand over his valuables.

It has since been reported, by the Telegraph, that the footballer has an overnight security guard, who it is said was ‘not aware’ of the two intruders.

Kane and Alli’s team-mate Jan Vertonghen fell victim to burglars earlier this year.

The Belgian’s wife and young family were at their home, in Hampstead, when four men broke in armed with knives, demanding cash and jewellery.

The 32-year-old was in Leipzig at the time for the second leg of the Champions League last 16 tie, which Spurs lost 3-0.

In July last year, Arsenal stars Mesut Ozil and Sead Kolasinac were chased for a mile by knife-wielding motorbike riders in an attempted daylight car-jacking in north London.

Ozil, a £350,000-a-week midfielder, was ambushed by the robbers as he drove his black Mercedes G-Class through leafy Childs Hill in Hampstead.

But as the thugs surrounded the 4×4, Ozil’s Arsenal teammate and childhood friend, Sead ‘The Tank’ Kolasinac, leapt out and bravely took them on.

But rather than that being the end of the drama, the players were then chased through the mansion-lined streets of north London in Ozil’s 4×4 in a high-speed chase that lasted for more than a mile.

Ozil sped off and overtook traffic on the wrong side of the road as ‘ninja style’ masked moped muggers gave chase before taking refuge at a Turkish restaurant.
