‘Last night was really scary but looking much more positive this morning so we are all hoping and praying for the best…’

‘We aren’t allowed to visit obviously because of lockdown and as much as we are desperate to give her a cuddle we hope we won’t need to visit.’

Stacey is the mother to sons Zachary, 12, Leighton, eight, and 17-month-old Rex, and she has been keeping busy with her children as she tries to focus on ‘happy thoughts’ instead of her grandma’s illness.

She added: ‘We are thinking of you grandma ALWAYS, and hoping and praying that when this lockdown is over we can safely come and celebrate your birthday with you next month…

‘For now, I’m going to keep myself busy as much as possible and think happy thoughts…’

It has been an emotional week for Stacey as she broke down in tears on Friday after she was gifted a special book from small companies.

The TV presenter admitted she ‘hasn’t stopped crying’ as she treated her Instagram followers to a peek inside the thoughtful present.

Decorated with the title: ‘Stacey… just a little thank you’, the book was filled with personalised letters and notes from family-friendly businesses amid the UK’s second lockdown.

The mother-of-three grew emotional as she said: ‘Now I’ve got to stop reading this book. Thank you I love it.’

Stacey highlighted that the latest lockdown had a negative effect on the growth of certain companies, as she added: ‘I know there’s so many small businesses that I haven’t gotten round to mentioning that really need help at the moment, so I’m just going to keep sharing as many as I can.

‘Maybe when small business really kindly offer to send us gifts, I can put it in a competition.

‘So I can share their page and competition and also give other people a chance to win that kind of stuff. Anyways, love you loads!’
