Savannah Chrisley is open to the possibility of someday reconciling with her ex-fiance Nic Kerdiles: ‘If we end up back together, that was what was meant to be’
Savannah Chrisley called it quits with her fiance Nic Kerdiles two months ago.
And, the 23-year-old is opening up about life post-split in a revealing new interview with People Magazine on Thursday.
Despite putting an end to her relationship, the Chrisley Knows Best star says that Nic remains ‘part of my family’ and the door is open to a potential reconciliation in the future if it is ‘meant to be’.

‘Our situation is very unique,’ Savannah told People. ‘For us, it was a very adult relationship and you need to navigate it that way. Even when it ends.’
Adding: ‘He was a part of my family and he still is. It’s just we’re both on different pages right now and we weren’t connecting.’
In September, the blonde reality star took to Instagram to announce that she and former ice hockey player Nic Kerdiles were breaking up after growing fan speculation.
Nic and Savannah met on Instagram and began dating in the fall of 2017. The couple got engaged on December 24, 2018 after a year of being together.
‘If we end up back together, that was what was meant to be. And if we don’t, then there’s going to be other people that come into our lives.’
‘Neither of us were capable of giving the other what they needed at the time. And that’s okay,’ she revealed to People. ‘You just have to realize that and we chose to take that step back. And no decision in life is ever perfect.’
She continued: ‘If we end up back together, that was what was meant to be. And if we don’t, then there’s going to be other people that come into our lives.’
Savannah said that in order for things to work out there would need ‘to be a lot of change on both sides’.
Looking back she said that perhaps the couple allowed public opinion to worm its way into their personal lives ‘just a little too much.’

In her Instagram first announcing their split, Savannah addressed rampant fan speculation that the pair had hit a rough patch.
‘Nic and I have decided to call it quits,’ she wrote at the time. ‘There’s no hatred between the two of us…and in all honesty…that makes saying goodbye even harder.’
The reality star explained that the two did not have bad blood and were trying to make this as amiable as possible.
‘We have nothing but love, respect, and admiration for one another but it’s time for us to move forward individually. These past 3 years have been some of the best years of my life…but I have to trust that God has a far greater purpose for my life…I believe that He will take this hardship and make something beautiful out of it.’

The last photo of she and now ex Nic on her Instagram feed was in early June – around the time fans were questioning the relationship and their wedding plans.
Savannah will open up more about her breakup on upcoming episodes of her family’s long-running reality series, as well as, more personal things like freezing her eggs and suffering from endometriosis.
