Man ‘is arrested after driving car into north London police station’ 

A driver is believed to have been arrested after purportedly ramming into a north London police station tonight.

Unverified footage shows a police presence outside Edmonton Police Station on Fore Street, which has been evacuated, according to sources.

The Metropolitan Police are yet to confirm the arrest but footage shows a cordon around the building. 

The video, taken from the scene and posted on social media shortly after 7pm, records a witness saying a car ploughed into the station.
