Actor Firass Dirani has ruffled feathers since his very first day on SAS Australia.

And the recruits are due to reach their limits with the Underbelly star on Tuesday when he mysteriously goes MISSING on the show and puts them all in danger.

Speaking to KIIS FM’s Kyle and Jackie O ahead of the episode, Merrick Watts claimed the cast pleaded with the directing staff (DS) to intervene or remove Firass.

Merrick confirmed that the intervention with Firass would air on Tuesday, but the star would not leave just yet.

‘There is no real room for somebody to not play the team game, you need to look after people… Firass is very selfish, he is very self involved and that started to effect the group,’ the comedian explained.

Merrick said after a universal consensus by the remaining recruits on the show, they expressed their gripes towards Firass to the DS.

‘As duty recruit I had to go, everyone wanted to go and approach the DS to chat about Firass and we had an open chat with him and he was better after that,’ he said.

While on Nova’s Fitzy and Wippa, Merrick also noted that the cast was in complete disbelief by Firass going missing during the team task.

‘We literally stopped and went no, this is a setup! The group had decided we needed to talk to DS about Firass and the fact that we thought he was putting us all in jeopardy,’ he said.

Merrick added that it was a ‘full on’ and ‘confronting’ ultimatum put towards Firass as a result of the team requesting the actor be remove from the course.

A total of 17 famous faces signed up for the intense SAS selection course run by an elite team of ex-special forces soldiers, otherwise known as the ‘Directing Staff’.

Seven recruits so far have voluntarily withdrawn from the show by handing in their assigned numbers to the DS.
