She has been hard at work shooting her lead role in the science fiction thriller film Mother/Android.

And now, after more than two months on the set in Boston, Chloë Grace Moretz flashed a big beaming smile on the final day of filming.

The 23-year-old actress also had a look of relief when she was spotted behind-the-scenes dressed casually in an all-black ensemble of pants, T-shirt and jacket.

Final day: Chloë Grace Moretz, 23, flashed a glowing smile on the final day of shooting for her upcoming science fiction thriller film Mother/Android on Monday

The Atlanta, Georgia native appeared to have just come out of her trailer on set with her blonde tresses styled long and wavy, and with a part on the slight right.

Moments later, the Clouds of Sils Maria star looked to be on a mission while walking briskly past some of the crew members who were hard at work getting prepared for the next scene.

As the day wound on, Mortetz hopped into the back of a military truck full of people wearing masks amid the still raging COVID-19 pandemic.

By the middle of the afternoon, the 5ft4in leading lady took to her Instagram Story and shared a photo of the back of the military truck.

The shot appeared to have been taken during a break in the action, considering she was wearing a protective mask and her on-screen jacket was shed.

‘Last day on the set of #MotherAndroid,’ she wrote along the bottom of the picture taken on an old cobblestone, brick street in Boston.

Principal photography for the film, which is the directorial debut feature for Project Power screenwriter Mattson Tomlin, began in September 2020.

The storyline follows Georgia (Moretz) and her husband Sam (Algee Smith), as they go on a treacherous journey to escape their country, while in the midst of an unexpected war with artificial intelligence, according to Deadline.

All the high-octane action goes down in the days just before the arrival of their first child. Eventually the couple must face No Man’s Land— a stronghold of the android uprising, in hopes of reaching safety before Georgia give birth.
