Cara Santana looks completely smitten as she shares a kiss with Jared Leto’s brother Shannon

The honeymoon period was still on as Cara Santana shared a kiss with new boyfriend Shannon Leto in west Hollywood on Monday evening. 

The actress looked completely taken with musician Leto following a dinner date at popular Japanese-Peruvian fusion restaurant Matsuhisa, where they were joined by a female friend. 

Sporting a thick brown duster coat, Cara, 36, was easy to spot while enjoying an intimate moment with the 50-year old brother of Oscar-winning star Jaren Leto.

She added to her casual look with a pair of generously cut jeans, while a simple top and white trainers rounded things off. 

In accordance with current health and safety guidelines the actress wore a face covering while exiting the Los Angeles restaurant earlier that night. 

Meanwhile Shannon – a drummer with Jared’s band 30 Seconds To Mars – looked relaxed in a black baseball cap, matching hooded top and jeans. 

The couple were previously spotted enjoying a public display of affection while out  in Beverly Hills. 

Cara’s new romance comes after her ten-year relationship with actor Jesse Metcalfe, 41, ended in January. 

The couple, who were engaged for four and a half years, parted ways after he was photographed looking intimate with two separate women in one day. 

A source close to the couple told People at the time: ‘She was wearing her ring yesterday. She had no idea things weren’t fine until she saw the photos online today.’ 

They dated for 10 years before getting engaged in 2016, with Jesse popping the question on a sailboat in New York’s Hudson River.

Despite separating, the former couple reportedly quarantined together during California’s lockdown. 

A source told Us Weekly: ‘They are definitely not back together. They own a home together and they are quarantined together.

‘Jesse lives in the guest house. They had to make the mature decision to deal with this situation together like many people going through a breakup right now.’
