What the original Block properties are worth now

Before making Melbourne its home, The Block used to film in Sydney, with many of the original properties gaining value in a rising market.

The last season to be filmed in Sydney was shot back in 2010, and since then, the values of the Vaucluse apartments have skyrocketed, according to a report by The Daily Telegraph last month.

Mark and Duncan’s renovated apartment on New South Head Road sold for $907,000 during the show’s 2010 finale.
