Timothee Chalamet joined a roaring New York City, as residents took to the streets in large numbers to celebrate the win of Joe Biden.

On Saturday the 24-year-old Call Me By Your Name actor was spotted walking with a friend as they hit up one of the many joyous gatherings.

Clad in a bright orange Celine sweatshirt, Chalamet was in good spirits after being very vocal about his support of the President-elect.

Time to celebrate: Timothee Chalamet, 24, stepped out with a friend in NYC as the two headed to one of the city’s many roaring gatherings. He wore an orange sweatshirt as he was seen taking to the streets to celebrate

For the momentous occasion, Chalamet kept it casual in a pair of grey joggers and white sneakers.

He threw on a brown elara hat over his locks, rocking a face mask as he gathered responsibly.

His pal carried a camera in hand as the two made sure to document the historic day.

With increasing police presence as the city braced for potential rioting or confrontation, Chalamet was seen strolling by a blocked off street as he adjusted his hat.

Earlier in the day the New York native shared that he was having lunch with his grandma as they dined al-fresco.

He was later seen riding his bike around the city, before getting into a white BMW with some buddies as he screamed ‘F*** Donald Trump.’

The down-to-earth actor was not afraid to be one with the people, chatting to fans and posing for some snaps.

While anxiously awaiting the election results on Thursday, he cheekily made a reference to his infamous peach scene in Call Me By Your Name.

He shared a meme that said ‘If georgia goes blue…,’ including a suggestive water drop emoji alluding to the masturbatatory part of the fruit scene, as he got excited about the historically conservative state making the switch.

On the acting front, Timothee has two movies that drop in 2021 – the star-studded Wes Anderson film The French Dispatch, and Dune where he will play opposite Zendaya.
