Aubrey Plaza takes her dogs for a stroll… as she offers congratulations to Joe Biden and Kamala Harris on their historic presidential victory

She is among the Hollywood celebrities to give her support to the Biden-Harris presidential ticket.

And on Saturday morning, not long after the Democratic presidential nominees were declared the winners of the election after a nearly five-day count, the actress offered her congratulations to the President-Elect and Vice-President-Elect.

Around the same time, the Parks and Recreations star hit the streets in the Los Feliz neighborhood of Los Angeles for a walk with her beloved rescue dogs Frankie and Stevie.

The actress kept it casual in the fashion department in light blue denim jeans, a brown sweater and black leather boots.

She also wore a white baseball cap over her dark brown tresses that flowed out of the hat to around the middle of her back.

With the COVID-19 pandemic still raging in many states across the U.S., Plaza donned a dark blue-patterned mask over her mouth and nose.

The Legion star had to do a bit of a balancing act by holding on to the leashes of her two pooches with her left hand while grasping a cup of coffee with her right hand.

Her four-legged family members appeared to be at ease as they walked on both sides of their owner along the suburban streets.

Plaza sounded overjoyed in the moments after Joe Biden and Kamala Harris were declared the winners of the presidential election.

‘CONGRATS JOE AND KAMALA!!!! We did it! Thank you to everyones hard work and everyone who got out there and voted!’ she captioned a photo of herself next to Mr. Biden.

‘Go Delaware! God bless America! Can’t wait to be Secretary of State!,’ she added, which included a reference to their shared Delaware roots.

A number of hours later she posted an image of the former Vice-President and Senator Harris clasping hands with the headline: ‘Bye Don.’

Just days ago, on the eve of election day, Plaza shared a 20-year-old photo of herself with then Delaware Senator Joe Biden.

‘Awkward high school photo alert!! This is a real photo of my mom, 16 year old me and @joebiden in a parking lot at the University of Delaware,’ she wrote before offering some memorable details of their meeting.

‘He took the time to tell me about his wife who went to my high school and give me some words of encouragement. Joe is a good man.’

She concluded: ‘He has always been an inspiration to me and I believe he can lead our country into better times. Vote for him! I’m sorry for my teen khakis! Go America!’
