Channel 10 is still months away from announcing the line-up for the new season of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! Australia.
However a surprising new report by the Sunday Herald Sun, has revealed that TV puppet Agro may enter the jungle, when the show premieres next year.
While it may sound a bit left field, Agro and the show’s co-host Dr Chris Brown are teaming up for Uber Eat’s latest ‘Tonight I’ll Be Eating’ promotion.

Agro co-hosted children’s program Agro’s Cartoon Connection from 1989 to 1997 with Ann-Maree Biggar and Teresa Livingstone.
Despite I’m a Celebrity relocating from South Africa to New South Wales due to the pandemic, Agro hilariously told the Herald Sun that he’s ‘very keen’ to join.
‘It’s not in the jungle, so it will be more like “I’m in Gosford … Get Me Out Of Here!”. And the eating challenges will be fine because I’ve got no throat,’ Agro said.
Chris chimed in: ‘After the year we’ve all had, this feels like the friendship I never knew I needed.’

He’s keen: While Channel 10 did not confirm nor deny the possibility of Agro joining when approached by The Herald Sun, Chris told the publication: ‘After the year we’ve all had, this feels like the friendship I never knew I needed’
When approached for comment by The Herald Sun, Channel 10 could neither confirm nor deny whether Agro is set to star on the popular reality series.
The rumour mill on stars set to join has been going into overdrive, with Woman’s Day reporting that disgraced chef Pete Evans and fitness influencer Tammy Hembrow are being considered.
Another candidate on Channel 10’s wish list is reportedly former actress Bec Hewitt.

‘It’s no secret that producers have been angling to get Bec and Lleyton on the show for years – their combined star power would be an absolute ratings smash hit,’ a source said.
‘The fact they’re filming in Australia means it will be so much easier for Bec to commit,’ they added.
In addition to Bec, Pete and Tammy, the likes of Tania Zaetta, Ian Thorpe, George Calombaris and Abbie Chatfield are said to be in the running.
