Terri Irwin, 56, flaunts her darker hair after appearing to ditch her highlights for the summer

She’s a doting mum-of-two who is about to become a grandmother for the very first time.

And on Saturday, Terri Irwin looked more stunning than ever as she showed off her darker-than-usual locks, while awaiting the birth of her granddaughter in 2021.

The stunning 56-year-old appeared to ditch her blonde highlights in recent weeks in favour of a darker ‘do in time for summer – and looked gorgeous as she posed next to her pregnant daughter, Bindi, 22. 

The pair took a walk in a woodland to mark the start of the weekend, and sweetly posed in the trees with the sun shining behind them.

‘Thankful for moments like this,’ Bindi captioned the snap, which saw her and her mum grinning widely as Terri showed off her luscious locks which she wore in a casual wave. 

She opted to go make-up free for the occasion, and wore a burgundy T-shirt, black cardigan and jeans.

Her stunning daughter Bindi looked equally as beautiful, sporting a smart black coat and a camera on her arm.

Last month, Bindi posted a sweet tribute to her mum on Instagram.

‘Mama, thank you for always making me smile. I love you with all my heart,’ Bindi wrote online. 

Bindi and her husband Chandler Powell, 23, are expecting their first child together next year. 

The couple tied the knot on March 25, in a makeshift ceremony at Australia Zoo, just before the COVID-19 lockdown. 

She announced her pregnancy in August, uploading a photo to Instagram of herself and Chandler holding a tiny version of the Australia Zoo uniform.

‘It’s an honour to share this special moment in our lives with you. Though I’m still in my first trimester, we really want you to be part of our journey from the beginning of this new life chapter,’ she told her followers. 

‘We couldn’t wait to share the news as this beautiful little being has become the most important part of our lives. Your support means the world to us.’
