‘It’s become my focus and priority’: Home And Away star Pia Miller puts her acting career on hold to launch her own beauty brand

Pia Miller left Home and Away in 2017 to pursue an acting career in Hollywood.

But on Sunday, the soap star revealed she is putting her acting career on hold to focus on launching her own brand.

The 37-year-old actress told Stellar magazine that while she’s always open to the ‘right opportunity’ in acting, her focus now is on her clean beauty brand, Macabalm.

‘I love films, I love TV, I love the industry. If and when the right [acting] opportunity presents itself then I’ll lean into that,’ she said.

‘[Macabalm] has been the baby. It’s become my key focus and priority, but I still and always will have a love and passion for storytelling and acting,’ she continued.

Talking about starting her new project, the Chilean-born Australian explained: ‘It wasn’t something that I was like, “Oh, by this time in my life I’m going to create a product and I want to be an entrepreneur.” It happened naturally.’
