Larry Emdur and his wife Sylvie have listed their stunning $2.15million shipping container home as a holiday rental.

The pair are now offering city slickers the chance of a country escape at their eco-friendly pad, called Sky Ridge, which is located in Kangaroo Valley in the NSW Southern Highlands.

The ultra-modern property is available for bookings at approximately $1,000 per night.

On the ground floor, the home features a wide open plan living area, styled with eclectic art pieces, stylish furniture and a fireplace.

It also has large sliding glass windows, allowing for fresh air to breeze through and showing off views of the country side.

The kitchen is fitted out with state of the art appliances, and also has a spacious dining area, perfect for entertaining.

The second floor features four spacious bedrooms, each with their own ensuite bathrooms and views out to the 10 acres of picturesque bushland surrounding the property.

Those looking at staying renting out the property can expect an environmentally friendly experience, as the home is solar-powered.

It could also be a perfect way to get a digital detox as there is no wi-fi available, with only mobile phone data accessibility.   

On Friday, The Morning Show host, 55, shared a video showing a glimpse at the property and its surrounding bush land on his Instagram.

He wrote in the caption: ‘This is Sky Ridge!!! We are super excited to launch this new project. 

‘Sylvie and I set out to find a truly unique home to run as a holiday rental and the moment we turned into the driveway of this epic shipping container home we knew we’d found it. 

‘It’s like living in a work of art, it’s just “wow!” he said.

The couple spent $2.15million on a stylish new container home, which was designed by architect ­Alexander Michael in 2018.

It blends steel, glass and polished concrete floors with eco-friendly touches, such as solar panels with a battery bank and rainwater harvesting.

This is the second holiday home that Larry has purchased this year. In February, he paid $1.1million for a property in Berowra Waters, in Sydney’s north.
