Khadijah Haqq reveals she suffered a pre-term labor scare and is now on bedrest after hospitalization: ‘So thankful for my doctors’

Khadijah Haqq has described a recent health scare which has left her bedridden.

The 37-year-old twin sister of Malika Haqq, who is expecting her third child, shared a selfie from her hospital bed.

‘I didn’t share right away because the most important thing was that myself and the baby were healthy,’ Khadijah wrote in the caption of her post on Thursday.

Health scare: Khadijah has opened up about suffering a pre-term labor which has forced her onto bed rest during her third pregnancy

‘I had a pre-term labor scare a few weeks ago and was hospitalized. I’m home on bedrest now, feeling good, and so thankful for my doctors.’

The Dash Dolls alum went on to say that her previous two pregnancies also included issues.

‘Pregnancy for me has always come with a multitude of challenging symptoms and scares. I know I’m not alone, I just know it’s not easy to talk about for so many reasons. But with the support of my family and friends I can do just that.’

She added, ‘I’m in bed and I can only imagine there’s a mom or two in the same position.(Or for other reasons.) Let’s be there for each other!’

Khadijah announced in August that she’s pregnant with her third child with husband Bobby McCray.

She is mom to Christian, 10 and daughter Celine, six.

Malika, also 37, welcomed her first child in March, a baby boy named Ace with ex-boyfriend O.T. Genasis.

When the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star announced her pregnancy Khadijah showed her support on Instagram.

‘When I had my first child you were there every second, literally in the bed with me coparenting. We’ve always been a team because we work better together. And now raising your baby is literally my dream coming true!’

Meanwhile Malika has said she and O.T are doing their best to co-parent their son, but believes Ace is the only person who can decide if they’re doing a good job.

She said: ‘Co-parenting is a journey. The person that will decide if it was a success is Ace.’

And although co-parenting isn’t always easy, Malika is happier than ever with her little boy, even if she thinks he’s growing up too fast.

Speaking about milestones Ace has already passed – including teething – she added: ‘I’m not OK. It’s too soon for me, but I’m doing everything that I can to keep him comfortable, including letting him chew on me when it hurts.’

Malika’s co-parenting comments come after a recent episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians – which she guest stars on as she’s best friends with Khloe Kardashian – showed her complaining that O.T. had been ‘no help’ in getting Ace’s nursery set up ahead of birth in March this year.

She told Khloe during the episode which aired in September: ‘I just need to get a handyman here to put his crib together because his dad doesn’t do stuff like that.’
