More than 30 years after it went off the air, the cast of Family Ties is reuniting, for a good cause.
The main stars of Family Ties – Meredith Baxter, Michael Gross, Michael J. Fox, Tina Yothers, Marc Price and Scott Handelman – are reuniting for Stars In the House, according to People.
They will appear on the episode, hosted by Seth Rudetsky and James Wesley, will air Wednesday, November 10, airing at 8 PM ET.

The Stars In the House series debuted at the onset of the COVID-19 lockdown in March, featuring stars performing from their homes to promote charitable causes.
Next week’s episode featuring the Family Ties cast will raise money for The Actors Fund, which was founded in 1882.
The Actors Fund is described as, ‘a national human services organization here to meet the needs of our entertainment community with a unique understanding of the challenges involved in a life in the arts.’

‘We’re overwhelmed with gratitude that we raised over $15,000 during Tuesday’s all-day ‘Vote-a-thon’ broadcast,’ they added.
‘During this time of what seems like unending national stress, we find that our audiences are drawn to reunions of what we call ‘comfort TV,’ those TV shows from yesteryear that brought us all so much joy,’ they added.

The original series aired for seven seasons on NBC between 1982 and 1989, spanning 172 episodes.
The show, created by Gary David Goldberg, followed the unique family, comprised of two liberal former hippie parents (Baxter and Gross), their ultra-conservative son (Fox) and daughters (Yothers and Justine Bateman).

Michael J. Fox won three Emmy Awards for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series throughout the show’s run, during which, he also filmed the blockbuster film Back to the Future.
