EastEnders star Patsy Palmer goes make-up free as she works up a sweat during outdoor yoga session in Malibu
The doldrums of Albert Square appeared to be a distant memory as carefree Patsy Palmer worked out in sunny Malibu on Thursday.
The former EastEnders actress was put through her paces during a rigorous outdoor yoga session in the exclusive southern California enclave, where she lives with her family.
Sporting a loose fitting grey top and black gym leggings, Patsy, 48, was dressed appropriately as she worked on her sun salutation with a male friend.

With her ginger hair pulled into a messy knot, the actress revealed a make-up free complexation while performing a series of stretching exercises.
Patsy has made a home for herself in Malibu after relocating to California with husband Richard Merkell and their children, Fenton, 20, Emilia, 19, and Bertie, nine, in 2014.
But while EastEnders, where she found fame as feisty Bianca Jackson, appears to be a distant memory she admits that a return to the show was on the cards before the global coronavirus pandemic effectively ground production to halt.

Speaking via video call with former co-star Sid Owens on a recent episode of Loose Women, she said: ‘I haven’t watched EastEnders so I don’t know how they are doing it now.
‘I mean, I was there just before lockdown and I had to leave. There was a little bit I was going to do but I didn’t end up doing it and I don’t know how they’re doing it now because I haven’t seen it.’
With travel between the US and UK remaining restricted, she was forced to fly home before the borders were closed.

Patsy joined the cast of the BBC soap at the age of 21 in 1993, and last appeared in her role as Bianca Jackson in 2019.
In May, the actress-turned-DJ was surrounded by her loved ones as she celebrated her 48th birthday in lockdown, with her family treating her to an assortment of baked goods.
She looked happier than ever as she marked her special day with her nearest and dearest as they gathered around the kitchen table to sing happy birthday to her.
Patsy, who has carved out a career as a DJ in America, later showed off her skills as she enjoyed a DJ session in her living room.
