Shawn Mendes braves the rain to take girlfriend Camila Cabello’s dog Thunder for a walk

Shawn Mendes is a huge dog lover, recently welcoming a new pooch to his brood.

And the Wonder singer, 22, didn’t let anything stop him from being a responsible pet owner on Thursday.

Shawn took his girlfriend Camila Cabello’s beloved black German Shepherd Thunder for a walk even though it was raining outside of her Miami home.

The hitmaker was dressed down for the quick trip around the block, donning a grey hoodie, shorts and Puma slides.

He had his long tresses slicked back and popped a pair of AirPods in to enjoy music during the stroll. 

Back home was Camila and their three other dogs: a Shih Tsu named Leo, Eugene the long-haired Chihuahua and Tarzan, their new yellow Labrador.

Shawn showed off their adorable new canine in a sweet gallery on Instagram last week.

The first entry was a photo of the new pooch resting on Camila’s lap.

Shawn’s caption clued followers in to the name he selected for his new best friend: ‘Hi Tarzan ❤️’ 

The following two posts in the gallery were videos, with the first showing Tarzan and Cabello in the back seat of Shawn’s ride as he drove them home. 

The pooch looked comfy in Camila’s arms as Shawn looked at them in the rearview mirror, smiling. 

Soon, Shawn told his lady love to turn the dog around, so that his 56.5m followers could get a better look.

The next video showed the dog enthusiastically running around at home, exploring his surrounding… which included the camera.

In the last part Shawn included an endearing image of the pup fast asleep on the floor by the wall, just underneath his back.
